American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences

Novel Approaches For Applications Of Multi-Objective Optimization Problems

The objective of this special issue is to present advances and emerging cross-disciplinary approaches in the field of multi-objective optimization (MOO), weighted method, -constraint method, fuzzy optimization techniques, goal programming methodology, and fuzzy goal programming approach, heuristic algorithms and many more. We aim to provide a forum for researchers across disciplines as well as for practicing researchers in various fields of applications for MOO within as proposed below.

The editors would like to encourage studies that outline the general development of the main disciplines of applications and extensions of MOO as we know them today. Articles discussing methodologies and reviews of the current state of knowledge and opportunities for future research are especially welcome. In particular, this issue intends to provide a forum for a productive exchange of ideas and interaction among diverse technical and scientific fields such as water resource problem, transportation problem, inventory problem, supply chain models as well as applied mathematics, statistics and computer science. The Special Issue “novel approaches for applications of multi-objective optimization problems” is aiming to focus on MOO which provide a comprehensive review with an eye towards novel engineering applications. In addition, this issue consolidates seemingly different concepts, methods, and terminology stemming from diverse applications.

This issue will publish high-quality reviews and research articles. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and methodological details, as applicable, must be provided, and the special issue will be supported by American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences ( All submissions must adhere to the AJEAS journal's format requirements.

AJEAS is an open-access peer-reviewed technical journal which publishes original research contributions and is an unparalleled resource for key advances in the field of engineering. Scope of the journal includes, but not limited to, applied physics and applied mathematics, automation and control, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, computer science, data engineering and software engineering, earth and environmental engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and operations research, information technology, and informatics, materials science, measurement and metrology, mechanical engineering, medical physics, power engineering, signal processing, and telecommunications. Manuscripts regarding original research proposals and research ideas are highly appreciated. Manuscripts containing summaries and surveys on research cooperation and future projects (as those founded by national governments or others) are likewise appreciated, as they provide interesting information for a broad field of users.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Uncertain bi-level optimization
  2. Fractional rough multi-objective programming problems
  3. Stochastic linear and fractional multi-objective problems
  4. Multichoice transportation problem
  5. Intuitionistic multi-objective programming
  6. Supply chain models
  7. Inventory models
  8. Neutrosophic multi-objective programming
  9. Stability analysis of uncertain multi-objective programming
