Special Issue on Neuroinflammation and COVID-19 Announced

We're proud to announce a new special issue on Neuroinflammation and COVID-19. This special issue "Neuroinflammation and COVID-19" aims to provide a space for debate in the face of the growing evidence on the affectation of the nervous system by COVID-19, supported by original studies and case series. Complications such as stroke (ischemic and hemorrhagic), encephalitis, meningitis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and its variants, neurodegeneration, among others; are topics of great interest due to the risk of morbidity, mortality and disability.

The goal of this special issue is to provide state-of-the-art evidence on the relationship between COVID-19 and neuroinflammation, as well as its complications. We invite the readers of the journal to submit their results on experimental and clinical observations, as well as reviews of the literature. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. Full experimental and methodological details, as applicable, must be provided.
